Birds are as much a sign of spring as flowers. They are, however, much harder to get good pictures of than flowers as they are much less willing to sit still while I take piles of pictures of them. I'm trying to get the hang of it. Until I do, here are a few half decent ones:

I'm impressed that you're able to get that close to them. I have a decent telephoto lens, and still have trouble getting decent bird shots.
